Differential Fluid

how do you check the level of fluid? Got tires on it about a week ago and they said it had a slight leak, i just want to fill it back up with a little bit because im planning on swapping out all the fluids this winter? so any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Re: Differential Fluid

You pull out the fill plug with a 3/8 ratchet and short extension (it's on the inside of the diff on the driveshaft side) and fill it up until fluid comes out the hole

Its on the driverside. Not easy to get to or to fillup.

Go to your local auto parts place and get a screw on pumper that will allow you to force fluid in without getting the bottle angle just right. It makes things way simpler and less messy.

Re: Differential Fluid

The fluid bottles all come with an angled tip. I had no issues filling mine up. Just add fluid till it comes out the hole. Pretty easy.
