Mach 1000 audio system questions

My car has the mach 1000 audio. Im taking it out and selling it to a friend. I only have to pull out the 2 12s and the amp rack right? Just unplug the wires and stuff and thats it? I want to keep the stock 460 system in the car. Do I need to rip out a wiring harness to give him with it or anything? If not what does he need to make it work for him? Its not going into a mustang just another ghetto car.

Re: Mach 1000 audio system questions

Do you have the Mach 460 Head unit and stock audio system? Or the Mach 1000 Headunit?

Yes as far as i know just unplug the subs, disconnect from the stock (460 amps), and disconnect the wires from the head unit. He will prob need to buy the wiring kit to use the Mach 1000 with another head unit. Its gotta be the same # of prongs going into the head unit.

Hope that helps,. my $.02

Thanks for the help. Ya its my stock mach 460 sound system(460 head unit and amps) just with the added mach 1000 amps and the subs. He hasnt bought a head unit yet, so when he does will have to get a wiring kit for it.
