2013 gt

went down to a dealer today looking to see if they had any used 11 or 12 gt's. Nope but they had a 2013 gt in red with a 6 speed.

The price was a little over 31k which I did not think was to bad but still a little rich for me.

I actually thought it was a very nice car and the only upgrade was the security system. loved the look of the front end and the new rear lights were ok.

With 420 hp it looks like a bargin for a new car.

Re: 2013 gt

I saw a red one today ..
I give up ! Ford fixed the rear end of the car,but now the front looks like a Dodge Charger.
Also you found a GT v8 for $31,000 in youre area ? Was it on cinder blocks ?(no wheels) I need to move, $34,000 is lowest ive seen here.

Re: 2013 gt

I wonder if I can get the '13 rear lights on my '12 ? p.s. after rebates and such, my '12 vert which stickered for close to 40 was about $32k.

Re: 2013 gt

it was a 6 speed with cloth seats. I see some advertised in the 25 to 26 range for the stripper 2012 on cars.com but not around here.

Re: 2013 gt

My local dealers finally got a good number of cars on the lots. I'm still surprised that in this day the standard drivers seat is manual!?!
Love the tail lights, not as thrilled with the front grille as I thought I'd be.

edit note: Went on the ford website, and you still can't get decent brakes and rear gears on a GT/CS! Grrr!!! But you can get a race red GT500 with grabber blue stripes! Eye searing, really!

Re: 2013 gt

Talk about inflation, our cars were about 30k new, and the Terminator was less than the BOSS.

Now 30k+ is expected on a GT.

I went to a dealer just looking around and came across a 2012 GT and the sticker was $38K!

The sticker price on my 04 GT Vert went for $1000 more than my 04 Mach.

Re: 2013 gt

they've got a base GT with the tech pkg (Sync, pwr. dr. seat and something else I could probably care less about), cloth interior and manual, deep gears and Brembos for nearly $35k!
I priced out a similar car with the Recaros and few other options, came in right under $38k.

There is a 2011 Shelby GT500 with 25K miles for $42K around here somewhere, why the hell would I pay $38 for just a GT? lol

Assuming you don't mind changing your rear bumper cover to account for the different shape of the light assemblies, it should be feasible. I saw a thread on The Mustang Source forums wherein someone who works for (or with) Ford said the lights were a plug-and-play configuration. I also saw something that mentioned the price of each assembly being something like $900/piece but could be wrong about that.
