approx time to rebuild a mach motor

So I put a procharger p1sc on my car a few months ago and number 8 piston blew on me. The shop doing it quoted me 32 hours labour to pull motor rebuild and put back in and tune. Is this reasonable or is that too many hours? The motor is not yet apart as they are busy but I'm hoping all I need to replace are the rods pistons and bearings. I am already way over budget on the car and am going to school so buying a short block or long block or crate are out of the picture, all I want is for the car to run again, with forged internals, and for the car to sit between 450 and 500 untill I have money to upgrade the fuel system for higher hp.
