Clutch feel heavier all of a sudden

For some reason, it feel like my clutch is getting heavier. Is this a sign of it going bad? Only has 20k on it.

Re: Clutch feel heavier all of a sudden

Most likely your clutch cable is causing this. Mine got so bad I hated driving in stop & go traffic...the wife could not do it & the Ford service manager said it was bad. Only replace it with an OEM one & the problem most likely will disappear. All aftermarket ones are not the good quality.

The clutch cable could be going bad? How do I check this myself?

Re: Clutch feel heavier all of a sudden

Clutch cable, frayed (SP?) causing undue friction.

Change now, before you have to tow. Easy to do.

Now with these fiore quadrants and adjusters, can you use your stock cable?
