Here we go - 2003 Mach 1 - 53k miles

SOLD

I am putting the Mach 1 up for sale. It currently sits at 53,085 miles and will only go up a little bit as I don't drive it often. I am listing it for $18,000. I am the second owner and the title is clear without a lien.

I currently have a slot style MAF that is ready to be installed and have a re-tune set up for May 21st. The tune and MAF is intended to get rid of an issue in which the car stalls some times after coming to a stop. All other idle-related components have been replaced with brand new Motorcraft parts.

However, I am willing to sell the car for $15,000 if somebody is wanting to buy it as-is in it's current state. It runs and drives and produces 393 RWHP and 358 RWTQ naturally aspirated - just the occasional stall after coming to a full stop. Once the car is re-tuned, I will be standing at the original $18k price.

The car is ready to rip up some curves or just cruise on the streets with the IRS and is very well balanced with the aluminum block up front and IRS in the rear and other carefully selected top-tier components.

If you're interested let me know and we'll try to figure something out! Pictures are after the mod list.

As you can see in the below video, the squeaking is just from the shaker shaking, not a flaw with the engine itself.

Ride-along - *bang* noises are when the car is going over lane divider reflectors.

Interior - the little hole in the console was previously used by the previous owner for a switch to turn on the electric fan while in "key on". I removed the electric water pump because I didn't trust it so at the same time removed the little switch. Any discoloration in the carpet is simply camera flash/garage lighting problems in the picture. I've also got new pedal covers (same OEM style) that have not yet been installed.

I'm going to plan to take updated pics this weekend to show some of the minor imperfections that you would expect with a 12 year old car. But as you can see, the car is in great shape.

Oh no, not bored. I've just got other things I'm wanting to focus my time and money on right now that have taken precedence over the Mach.

Re: Here we go - 2003 Mach 1 - 53k miles

Oh yeah I'm not going anywhere. Figure with the amount of stuff I learned on this car I'll still be useful in some instances. Plus, what would I otherwise do throughout my day?!

No clue what my direction is right now. I need to sit on my money for at least a little while for the time being. Got some maintenance to do on the Grand Cherokee so a little cash will be going towards that (and this allows me the time and garage space needed to actually work on it!). But definitely expect a change of some sort in the future. Gotta wait around and see what sort of vehicles 2016 model years bring!
