This gives me high hopes. My biggest concern is traction. I need to start playing with my suspension! Thank you for letting me know what to shoot for! I was hoping for about 630 rwhp, but if you can run that with 560, I'll be ok with 560 also lol
So get Dave to tune it and ill see you at Cecil on Fri..

You are right. No intercooler. The car ran great and i wish we would have stuck with it a little longer. I know we could have done some head work and made a few other changes and ran low 9's easy. It was a fun ride for sure.

You are intercooling it arent you? I can tell you from experience that valve seats dont like the heat!!! Would be a good idea

Yep.. intercooler is on the car.. waiting for the right spacer for idler pulley. I have the wrong one for some reason.. it's not big enough so the idler actually rubs the bracket.

You're using a NOVI 2000 right? What intercooler you using? So Dave has the fastest mod motor Renegade car? Probably because of the BIG intake spacer I made him!lol.

When my car was being tuned by him for the 200 shot, I talked to him for a good hour about what I was going to do with the car and what I'd need to do. Fuel rails never came up. I MAY need a boost a pump. I have enough injector and a good twin pump setup.

Do you remember what size belt you used? I'm attempting a 106.5" belt.

Yep, I did everything myself and plan on finishing it myself. Hence why I don't expect it to be done anytime soon. I'm taking my sweet sweet time.

Cool. Hope to see you there! I'm really curious about your setup. I'll have to talk to you about it at FFC. That trap speed is really high for 560 rwhp. I only trapped 121 with 430 rwhp and 124 with 480 rwhp. I'm guessing 560 would only get me to around 130 with a lighter car than yours.

Well you have to remember that the stahl converter is going to hide some power. Im sure it made more but thats why i say, i just let the track #'s do the talking. Look foward to talking with you

Oh believe me I know all about the C4 and the low dyno #'s.. I made 405 RWHP NA with the TKO 600 and 480 RWHP with a 200 shot and the C4

My NA RWHP with the C4 went all the way down to 340, but it runs the same times.

Re: Replacing P1 with F1

So, since everyone is here, anyone wanna let me know if I'm close in my amounts?

Anyone have any ideas on the cost for the following or give recommendations?

1) F1 (~$1,400 - $2,100)
2) 60# injectors ~$300?
3) Built shortblock ~$3,000? (Or should I just get forged pistons / crank / rods / ARP studs and keep the block?) Looking for the best value here.
4) I imagine I would need to build-up my tranny a little bit, but that can be considered later.

Would like to be in the 525-600 rwhp range on 91 octane (if possible). Thanks to anyone that replies.

Try $2500 for the F1, $350 for the injectors + $40-$50 for the EV1 to EV6 adaptor clips and about $5000 at the very least for the engine build unless you do it yourself. Your 3650 won't last long. It might make it to the finish line once.

Re: Replacing P1 with F1

I drive an auto and plan on having a "700rwhp" tranny built by Darrin installed before this stuff goes in. My numbers for the F1 are net of selling my P1. I don't plan on doing the engine build myself.

Thanks for the feedback.

The head unit alone was $2700.00
Im using 160s i think Cory is running 83s
Use your existing block and that number should be fine
I was using a TKO600 with a Spec 3+

Not going to be able to run 91
Im using 93 only because i have a stand alone
Cory runs 100

Im not saying it cant be done , but is it safe ? Or is it worth it ?

The biggest issue with the F1 is belt slip . I converted to the 8 rib and tried multiple tactics . I personally wasnt happy enough with the results . An auto will work much better with the 8 rib then a manual .

Im the Cogboy as M1M puts it . Oh well you dont hear me complain about belt slip or breaking belts anymore .
