Here you go .

If you want a FREE way to change boost levels with a centrifugal blower, change your rev limiter LOL.

Nice. And pricey...haha.

So that module basically takes the fuel injection control away from the cars computer and you can have stored settings for timing and fuel. How is that any different from having separate tunes in a handheld? Just the level of control you get?

Also, how does that module effect boost levels? I thought the size of the pulley spun the supercharger impeller faster or slower which determined the amount of boost (in a nutshell, obviously excluding port jobs, cams, exhaust modifications). I think what I am trying to say is, I thought boost was controlled mechanically, not electronically.

Re: Replacing P1 with F1

naw khris starnes is fixin the heads up with some new valves valve job and some p/p work, ill probably take some boost out now to keep it safe on pump gas cause it was out of octane but itll probably be mid 700 on c16 with 20lbs thats what im aimin for anyway

Sounds good . Sorry for your setback .

Thats what happens when you guys get greedy for mo power !

Best of luck to ya . My heads are going back out over the winter .

I never thought that i would have the top RWHP this long . But im ready for them . I already have the crank pulley which will put me at 30 psi . When i installed the sprague pulley it dropped to 23 psi . I also have a set of 300 jets .

Im ready .

Not to mention im already sitting on a exact duplicate of my existing shortblock .

Not busting on you or nothing but it Makes me feel even better because i made NOWHERE near 1000 RWHP and had what was the fastest street driven Mach in the country. That was with a little ol novi and a stock displacement motor!!

Never really cared about the power #'s, just the track #,s

Re: Replacing P1 with F1

I wish you all the best in your quest. Just goes to show though that sometimes less is more. The 8 sec mach was a full on drag radial car with a big turbo and a cubic inch motor. Not taking anything away from him either because it is a bad *** car for sure.

I weighed in at 3750 and was using a C4 tranny. Car was not gutted and still had all the power acc. A true street car as well

Just out of curiosity, what did it dyno? I am after all using YOUR old blower on my car here soon

My race weight is 3390 with driver right now. Also using a C4 trans with a 301 cube motor. Did you use a 8 rib and what PSI did you run?

You wont hold it in the higher RPMs . You will get a quick glimpse of it and then it will go away .

When will you be ready anyways ?

We were making about 18-19#'s and that was with the 6 rib belt!!!

I had an issue with the 8 rib and never tried to work it out. We NEVER ran the 8 rib. The car was on the dyno one time and only made like 560 or so.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH eat that Bill

I had planned on boosting 18 PSI on C16 and your car didn't even have an intercooler did it?

This gives me high hopes. My biggest concern is traction. I need to start playing with my suspension! Thank you for letting me know what to shoot for! I was hoping for about 630 rwhp, but if you can run that with 560, I'll be ok with 560 also lol
