Opinion on body kit
I got hit by a deer awhile back and have to replace my driver fender and also pit a small tear in my bumper so i was thinking of putting a roush bumper. I really like the looks of this car with the stalker skirts but how do you guys think it would look with bullitt side skirts instead? I figured they would line up better with the stock rear bumper.

Re: Opinion on body kit
If you get the roush front bumper you've got to get the side exit exhaust/skirts. It flows alot better with the front bumper, IMO

Re: Opinion on body kit
Have you seen the roush rear bumper? i'm not sure if they are inserts you just attach to the rear bumper, or if its one whole piece, but they would flow fairly well with the side skirts you have on there now.

Re: Opinion on body kit
Yeah, the side exhaust does look the best IMO but im not sure if i want to go that route, Plus its pretty low to the ground and i have rough roads and crappy train tracks to drive across daily. The rear bumper is just add on pieces to cover the exhaust holes when you use the side exhaust.

Re: Opinion on body kit
is your car currently in great lakes, IL? cause there is a car parked at the commissary parking lot that looks literally identical to this one. same body kit. same blacked out areas on the front bumper, same side skirts. is that you?

Re: Opinion on body kit
I do NOT want an 03/04 bumper and the 99/01s are getting hard to find or they are price gouged. Im between the roush and 99 style cobra.

Re: Opinion on body kit
I use the term body kit loosely. I would only put a roush or 01 cobra bumper on it and conra or bullitt side skirts. I like the roush but it doesnt look right with factory ground effects to me. Bumper is too low.

Re: Opinion on body kit
^Needs 03 Cobra sides and the stock Mach rear bumper back on it. You do not have a Cobra.

Re: Opinion on body kit
Yeah, I think the side skirts are one of the biggest improvements but to me the 03 looks good but it makes the mach look too bottom heavy.

At least it is not mistaken for a GT from behind. It seperates me from the herd. Soon it will be shaved and wont say anything from the rear.

Re: Opinion on body kit
Ive always liked the look of swervos but id have to have the chin spoiler. I dont like hoe the 99 cobra bumpers have the upward angle.
