New wheels, what do ya think?

Finally got my new wheels put on. So what do you think?

Rears are a 15x8, and the fronts are a 15x3.5.

and yes before anyone asks, they are street tires. The "show" was a little more affordable and practical than the "go" was lol.

Hard to tell from the pics how much gap is in the wheel wells? I assume it's not too much?

Unfortunatly i dont remember the backspace, the wheels are summit fastfives, and on the rear i had to use a 7/32" spacer and the front i had to use a 1" hubcentric spacer, and had to grind like a half inch or so off the studs.
There is a thread somewhere on here with the links to the wheels at summit and all the stuff you need if your interested.

Yes in the front are 1" hubcentric spacers and the rear is a 7/32" spacer you are "suppose" to have to grind off part of the banjo bolt to get them to fit but for some reason i didnt have to. I guess every mach is differant.

and to answer the other question no i didnt switch to gt breaks i still have the stock mach 1 breaks all the way around with no clearance issues of any kind, and i didnt have to roll my fenders either.

Re: New wheels, what do ya think?

I have the Jegs version of those in my garage. Are putting the lugs on a PITA? On mine it looks like the holes are too small because they use such a large center cap. They only socket that I can use is thin wall 3/8 deep well. I'm also using 3/4 hex lug nuts which are smaller than the standard 13/16 for 1/2-20 lug nut.

Re: New wheels, what do ya think?

PITA as in Pain In The A$$.

I just sold my Fox so I'll probably ty these on the MACh and see how it goes. I personaly hated the larger center caps. I was going to see if I could get some machined up at the shop that would be flush of just above. Kind of like the Greg Weld wheels had.

ohhhhh lol. got ya. and no the lugs were alright it was the studs that were a pita for me. i had to use a dremel to cut the studs and the first time i cut them to short for the spacer in the front and had to cut again. (should have measured twice!) and then when i finaly got them on after like 10 broken cutting disks and two bits, I went to get my oil changed at a ford dealership and my hub was going out i was told. Well unfortunatly they were right so they replaced it and i had to cut studs again on the new hub. so yeah fun stuff but the second time went ALOT smoother.

Re: New wheels, what do ya think?

I know it's to late for you peabodyz06, but I'm posting this for anyone else that might look this up.

I took the spacer and bolted it to the wheel. Then I used it as a drill guide to dill clearance holes in the back for the stock studs. You only need to go maybe 1/2 deep. I just marked my drill bit with some tape so they all be the same depth. Took maybe 45 mins to do the two of them. I did this because I'm still running the stock wheel 99% of the time and didn't want to shorten the studs for them. Plus if I ever have to replace the hub I won't have to shorten studs again.
