Silver or anthracite fr500's (black mach1)
Wanting to see what everyone thinks about wheels. I've got black amr wheels on my black Mach, really do not like the black on black look. Can't even see what the wheel is. I've had Anyhracite before but not on black. Can't decide between silver or anthracite fr500's
Anthracite looks a little older and racey silver looks newer and crisp I guess. I have anthracite on a dsg and they look great but thinking the black car may need the brighter wheel to pop |

I'd probably go silver since chrome isn't an option.

Re: Silver or anthracite fr500's (black mach1)
I dunno what it is but the silver they use on most mustang(and really most other repro wheels by extension) is not what I'd call silver. When I think silver, I think almost sterling, but the painted wheels I've seen are fairly flat. Not dull or dark, just bland. And anthracite I don't think goes well with anything, but I like things that pop.
On a black car, I vote machined face. It has nearly the pop of chrome/polished while not being in your face, and the black helps show of the wheels definition |

Re: Silver or anthracite fr500's (black mach1)
Silver for sure, but I am biased as I have 18" silver on my torch red MACh. I thought about the machined one when I bought mine, but I didn't like how it makes the spokes look skinnier which then makes the wheels look larger in diameter. However it's your car and your money so get what you like and the rest of us be damned.

No offense but I absolutely hate the machinedfinish ones. Anthracite looks nice to me.they match pretty dang well on my lady's GT (dsg) pics won't upload
