Caster Camber Plates

I put a set of UPR CCP on my Mach 1 and now theres alot of noise coming from the front suspension when i hit a bump. Dont know if it normal to hear more noise with the new plates. It sounds like the struts have alittle bit of play up and down to them but i took it back apart and i cant find anything that would make all the noise. Vannoys did the alignment and they hit the top of the CCP with a hammer and put a small mark on it and chip the powter coating. They said they had to to move the plate. Just wondering if they could have used a block of wood so it didnt chip the powder coating? Any Ideas?

Re: Caster Camber Plates

Common problem when lowering our cars. Could be in the steering rack, sway bar endlinks and brackets, springs etc. You just have to chase it down system by system.

Re: Caster Camber Plates

UPR cc plates are noisy. At the the "Shark" style are. I have them and they have only gotten worse with time. If you don't have the rubber boot on top of the strut they will make so much noise it sounds like the front end is coming apart. If I had the money for new plates and an alignment I'd replace them.
