Cool, that would be awesome. Can't wait to see the numbers.

He is VERY aware that there will be a lot of interest on this. and he is in a hurry-up mode. The numbers are there. Just not all in the same place, but trackable.

I'm from up north but I have been to Silver Springs, cold there must mean it's in the 70's. Woke up to an average day of 28 degrees this morning. And thats not really cold for this time of year.
So I guess you won't be swimming.

Re: Production Numbers !!! :)

The 04 Mach1 Producrtion Numbers are Provided back in post number 1.

IUP is the issue. Option code 18G, is/was not a sort feature available in their raw data.

for the 03 Mach1 Numbers, those are being put together similar to those reported for the 04's.

The IUP hunt is a manual search being performed using our R-code VIN's to pull up the individual build sheet data files for each specific one.

The hunt is on.

Re: Production Numbers !!! :)

Ford Sequence numbers are all over the place unless in some circumstances a fleet order was put in and all shipped pretty much the same time, even that isn't always true. It depends on what Ford has in stock for different Packages or Motors or Trans. etc. It also depends on when the order comes in and if dealer 1 had more sales last yr. than dealer 2 that got pushed back in orders. In 2005 with the new Mustang converts a fellow Ford employee ordered his Vert in Dec. and was one of the last people to get his car built so when someone said a Ford employee ended up with the last one built in 2003 it makes total sense to me. I personally have 2 1972 Mustangs and they were built in the last days of production in 1972 and the lower vin was made after the higher vinned car according to the Lois Emminger gate copy report. In reality there is no rime or reason to there logic.

Re: Production Numbers !!! :)

Wow, my Mach is coming up on its 10th birthday soon...the build date was
1-28-03.
I still love this car!
It's been to California and Nevada, Tucson, Prescott, and to the mountains of Arizona a lot and back.
It's been drag raced, road raced, auto crossed and 98,000 miles later it's still going strong.
All this got me thinking about the production numbers again, so if anyone has the info on my car I would really appreciate hearing it.

2003 DSG 5 speed with IUP

Thanks, Tim

I think the production numbers are accurate. I wonder after 10+ years soon how many Machs have been totaled and no longer exhist?

Re: Production Numbers !!! :)

I was doing the numbers on 04 AB auto and found that if they stuck to 10% without IUP, there would have been about 250 AB Auto IUP cars total. Now on going on its 13th year, Build date: 03 DEC03, how many of the original 250 are still around. Lots of AB parts on ebay every week. I bet there are about 150 left that weren't totaled or destroyed in some other manner. As time goes on the numbers come down, just wish there was a way to contact state DMV's and figure out how many are still on the road.
