Re: Test drove new 2011 GT
+1 We do have one of the coolest cars on the road. I love the fact that Ford built a Mustang for people looking for more HP including the V6. It's a great addition to the Mustang family. I could have waited to buy a new V6 or GT, but why when I could get a great car like my 03 Mach 1 with low miles for half the price. I love my Mach to much to think about trading her in. I also like my financial situation. I look at the Mach purchase as an investment, whether it will be or not time will tell.:ORANGE:

Re: Test drove new 2011 GT
It will out preform the Mach for sure. More hp, close in weight, and 7000 rpm redline, and add 4.56 gears and it will be sure to sting.

Re: Test drove new 2011 GT
They trap 111 bone stock. Easily faster than a mach and even a terminator.

Re: Test drove new 2011 GT
I was told the local dealership is getting 2 2011 GTs on Monday.
Trying to see if I can squeeze in a test drive on Tuesday.

Re: Test drove new 2011 GT
personally I really like the look of the 05-09 Mustangs. If I didn't have the Mach, I would most definitely have either a 2008 - 2010 GT or a 2010 GT500.
Still trying to see how I can not get too far in the hole with a flip of my 03 vert for an S197 styled GT. The only draw back to me is the rear lights on the 2010 Mustang. Outside of that, I think they are a great looking Mustang.

Re: Test drove new 2011 GT
I think that Ford made the rear lights a little ugly on purpose. The owner doesn't have to look at them and it makes the person losing have to stare at them.

I think if you took the rearend of a gt500 and put it on a 5.0 gt then that would be a saving grace for it.

Re: Test drove new 2011 GT
I bought my mach1 because it's very unique. Sounds amazing. Fun as hell. Head turner.
Has enough power and room for more in the future. On that note. I'm sitting in it now at wal mart waiting for my sister and a woman with her husband walked by. He pointed my car out and she said "it's a cute car". Whaaaaaaaaaaatttt?!?!?! Cute?! |
