HELP! o2 sensor problems..
i tried doings some research, but couldnt find a straight accurate answer. i gotta pick my son up in panama city in 2 days and dont wanna drive the mach with problems..... my Mach threw a SES light, so i check the codes with my diablo tuner. codes came as :
P0138-o2 sensor high voltage, bank 1, sensor 2 P2271 o2 sensor signal stuck rich bank 1, sensor 2 clearly somethings up with that sensor. one thing im tryin to find out is. Which sensor is this? and what could cause this, Im just gonna buy a new one and replace it. thanks fellas

Re: HELP! o2 sensor problems..
bank 1 sensor 2 is the drivers side aft the cat.
there are a few issues that could cause that do not warrant you needing to replace the 02's but without you telling us what your mods and if your tuned or not theres no really way of knowing. you could always take the tards advice above me and just replace them all

Re: HELP! o2 sensor problems..
UPR catless X-pipe
weld-in flows JLT intake diablo tuner (tuned) 4.30 gears etc. etc. so i could just replace the o2 sensor (the one right before the mid-pipe crosses) on the drive side, and hope for the best?

Re: HELP! o2 sensor problems..
its for a rear 02. which should be turned off in your tune but lemme guess your running the lastest revision?
if so then it might say you can turn off the rear 02's but it doesnt. realistically with it being a rear 02, id just drive it, its not gonna hurt anything and there isnt really anything wrong.

Re: HELP! o2 sensor problems..
ill talk to my tuner and talk to him about them.
my car hesitates while cruising sometimes...but i have 75k on mine. and the previous owner obviously sprayed on it. so maybe i should focus on the spark plugs..
