His commercials were obnoxious and over the top. But watching him on Discovery channel now and then was worth a few laughs. A shame hes gone. RIP

Everyone deals with death differently. It is sort of a realization that you could be next. Besides I am sure Billy's wife does not own a Mach. Doubt she would be trollin in these parts! Death of someone within a few years of anyones age range causes anxiety. The joking around is a sort of ativan for the anxiety that people experience when dealing with death.

sad that he died so early in life but at the same time you gotta find some good in this bad situation....like this little gem:

He was annoying in the informercials, but unlike another celebrity, he was actually a great guy off the camera. Big time conservative and hated Obama so he's ok in my book LOL

I think the early findings in the autopsy show heart disease. The whack on the head was just a coincidence.

Re: Forth in so many weeks? Billy mays dead?

I realize that everybody deals with death differently, however I find jokes at this point in time are very immature. Somebody lost a father, husband, friend and inspiration yesterday in Billy Mays. Same goes with the other deaths of late. A father, son, mother, daughter, brother, sister, etc....all of these were lost recently, and I think it's disrespectful not only to the ones that have passed, but those affected by those who have passed to so suddenly be making jokes about it all. I mean think about it, if you had just lost someone would you want people cracking jokes about it that week? Yet alone that very day? I think not.
My parents raised me to treat others with respect, regardless of if they are living or not because that is how I would like to be treated in return.

Again, I'm not saying any of this to stir the pot. I'm just asking that everyone on this forum or not give respect to the lives that have been lost and keep the humurous and harsh comments out of here for a while.

Re: Forth in so many weeks? Billy mays dead?

Over-sensitivity is ruining this country. Death is sad and tragic, but humor helps some people get through it. I found the "But wait, there's more!" joke rather amusing and I bet anybody that knew the guy would get a chuckle out of it too. As for the Michael Jackson jokes....that guy had it coming. Act like a freak, get treated like a freak. I've always said respect is EARNED, not given. Alive or Dead.

You know US Air was relieved with the autopsy report initial findings.

Sad to lose so many recently.
