He told me 500 on the dot when it was still getting tuned. Not sure if he went higher than that or not.

Eaton Swap Dyno Graph by quikbluewagon, on Flickr

Here's mine, Eaton swapped with a 3.1" pulley, 96 Cobra cams, full exhaust, 10lbs of boost, 12.0 afr and 13 degrees of timing. The MAF was maxxed out so I need to get that straightened out before I go for more.

Re: Who's Eaton Swapping Currently??

I don't remember the exact numbers but know that I ended on 500.26 RWHP. He has not emailed me the graphs yet but I will post them soon.

The first pull was about 497 RWHP on about 8 psi and timing spiked at almost 18 degrees, a little more than expected. We found that the boost actuator was not adjusted correctly and was bleeding boost. After adjusting the the actuator and pulling about two degrees I achieved 500 RWHP on about 10 psi (this is normal for the altitude here).

Notable Mods include:

- e85
- Billetflow 3.1 pulley
- Accufab SBTB
- Kooks LT's
- Kooks X-pipe
- Magnapacks
- JLT RAI
- T56

Yea stock pulley with a ported blower isnt gonna benefit too much. Im running a 3.4 seeing 9.5lbs on 13* timing 510/487 but my cams arent degreed for the set up. But his numbers are good for his mods. Good job JayB

Re: Who's Eaton Swapping Currently??

ya I've been thinking about dropping a pulley size to a 3.4 and backing timing down.

Re: Who's Eaton Swapping Currently??

Yes indeed, gotta love torque. The only thing with better torque is a twin screw! Timing is at 16ish. Keep in mind AFR is for e85. The lean at 4500 was fixed but has not been loaded since my programmer took a shiz.

just finished my swap, going for a tune next month hopefully after a lower pulley upgrade (running a 2.76 upper now) to see what she makes!

Why did you ditch the Vortech for the Eaton?

It was a Procharger.....and I've always wanted to do an Eaton swap on my car. Might have sacrificed some top end hp going to the Eaton but i'm more satisfied with it
