It's time to say Good Bye to Da Mach
This was a very hard decision for me but it's been in the works for over a year.
On July 23rd I bought a 2016 Deep Impact Blue California Special. I love it and at the same time I am gona miss my '03 mach ....A LOT! As we get older and our bodies start to say NO even though our minds say GO we are faced with some decisions that are not very easy. I have plenty of friends that think I'm crazy, stupid, selfish, out of touch and many other things because of how I care about my cars. Well, I care because I put my heart and soul into them. I enjoy going FAST....in a straight line as well as around corners. I also want my cars to be able to hold their own at any car show. In order to do that I have had to work on improving my mach every year. Well it is no longer enjoyable to jack it up and spend hours sweating, freezing, cursing and crying while maintaining or improving it. When it is no longer FUN it's time to move on. My wife Kim and I decided to make our Mustang Lives enjoyable again. We want to be able to just grab the keys and go to a local cruise nite, take a long Sat afternoon cruise or take a trip without the worry of finishing my latest mod or mods. Soooooooo We sold Kim's 1987 LX 5.0 to Haeg and his son Scotty about a month ago. She is with a great car loving family and will now begin to teach young Scotty what a FOX is all about. She will be missed but we do what we gota do. Da Mach will be put back pretty close to stock and sold. I will be selling the performance and look good goodies that made her "My Mach". Look for a bunch of good parts to be listed in the for sale area soon. I will still be lurking around this site and I will still see all my Carlisle mach friends every year. It's the friendships that endure It's what makes this hobby so rewarding......the people you meet. A special thanks to Dave Wagner for creating and maintaining this site. I have loved being part of this mach1 world. Also a shout out to Frank....we miss you. Thanks Mach1 Registry
