Sqeaking Sound
Does anyone know how I can fix a squeaking sound coming from my dash I think? It happens all the time when I'm driving.

Re: Sqeaking Sound
It is caused by the plastic piece under the windshield wipers. Mine is missing the bolts or whatever that holds in place and the wind moves it against the windshield to cause the squeek.

Re: Sqeaking Sound
I still have to get to a Ford dealer to order the parts but if you pop the hood you should see three holes where the air vent thing should bolt in right where it goes under the hood. Another on here said this fixed his squeek so I will try it once I can get to the dealer.

Re: Sqeaking Sound
Does anyone have the part number for the plastic pins or whatever that holds the airvent under the wipers? The Ford dealer near me doesn't have anyone that speaks English and my German isn't good enough to explain what I want.

Re: Sqeaking Sound
Sorry for the late reply. Been busier than 3 people.
Yes, those are the ones. Thank you. Now I gotta find me a Ford dealer around here. Thanks again, SC
