approx time to rebuild a mach motor

So I put a procharger p1sc on my car a few months ago and number 8 piston blew on me. The shop doing it quoted me 32 hours labour to pull motor rebuild and put back in and tune. Is this reasonable or is that too many hours? The motor is not yet apart as they are busy but I'm hoping all I need to replace are the rods pistons and bearings. I am already way over budget on the car and am going to school so buying a short block or long block or crate are out of the picture, all I want is for the car to run again, with forged internals, and for the car to sit between 450 and 500 untill I have money to upgrade the fuel system for higher hp.

the quote was just over 5000 with parts, this is just an "estimate" and the motor is beingg shipped to edmonton for rebuild dont remember the name of the builder but it is where the tuner subs out all of his engine builds and has for years and dealt with plenty of stangs.

If this is the same shop that it splattered it's guts while on the dyno, drag it somewhere else...

the shop that it blew at isnt doing the build they are subbing it out, so they aren touching it. and when it gets back to them they are putting it on the dyno and all the tuning will be done by jon lund.

Uhhhhhh ...Say...didnt Jon just blow a Mach motor up here with too much boost and timing ?

Jon did tune it last time but the tune was good, everything looked good on the charts, only revved it too 5000 and when let off it blew, car only made 4 lbs boost when it blew, think it made 370 horse on that pull. So just got a dud piston. That's the risk you take putting power adders on
