Helllppp. Car has no spark but turns over
We just got the motor hooked up and tried to fire it up. It turns over but won't get any spark. Injectors seem to be getting a pulse. Fuel system is working.
Car sat for 3 years. We just did full exhaust and crower cams. Any help or thoughts please Thanks

Did you disconnect the main harness and forget to put it back?

Re: Helllppp. Car has no spark but turns over
We've traced every harness and wire we can and everything seems to be well connected.
The coils are reading they have voltage Crank position sensor has voltage When you turn the key on all the lights light up and they all turn off just like normal. It's acting like if the pats system is messed up. I really want to get the car running before taking it to a shop.

Is it a std car? Did you have the clutch pushed in? If it was converted to auto did you fix the clutch sensor to make it start?

Re: Helllppp. Car has no spark but turns over
It is a standard but it has the clutch over ride and will start in any gear. One more thing I need to fix.
I think we found the problem. I have 3 harnesses. One of which the last shop cut on. So after further digging it looks like somehow we installed the bad harness. We are going to re install the other harness and see what happens.

Re: Helllppp. Car has no spark but turns over
Is it possible my engine builder could have installed the crank relucter wheel backwards by accident?
We noticed that on the scanner the car shows 150 rpm when you first turn it over then the rpm show zero while your cranking it. Any thoughts anyone?

Re: Helllppp. Car has no spark but turns over
not sure on that part but wanted to clarify that PATs cuts off fuel delivery and should not affect spark

Re: Helllppp. Car has no spark but turns over
Pats disables ignition and fuel from what I've seen or been told.
I'm going to have ford reflash the computer and nope it fires up. If not we are going to pull the timing cover and check the relucter wheel.

HTML Code:
There was an issue in the harness between my crank sensor and PCM. Car fired right up.
