Re: F1A cog project

only got two runs today at TNT....
11.78@138...just drove off the line and hammered it and short shifted it seeing if all was good drove it out the back end. drove straight and brakes felt ok.
10.32@132..second run. 1.79 sixty but only leaving at 3500. car moved well down track but need to get used to shifting quicker than my old combo. front half not as fast it needs to be but I need to leave harder for sure! Back half was just as I thought...pulled and very fast.

Re: F1A cog project

Send me the time slip. I'd like to see the splits and how it breaks down. Where were you shifting?

Re: F1A cog project

I was figuring about 109 in the 1/8th and adding 34 or so in the back half so you're not all that far off target for only a few runs on it. Figure that you should sixty around 1.40 or better so that's going to improve things a bunch once you get it leaving. Give me a call if you've got any questions....don't make it over here very often this time of year.

Re: F1A cog project

i know one thing is iam GLAD i put in the 4.10 gear cause I crossed the line right at 6850...if I would have dropped it down to 3.73 or 3.55 I would have been nowhere near high enough.
I guess I am smarter than the internet guru's....

Re: F1A cog project

Very cool! Congrats on everything working so well. I want an F1x so bad for the hills but just can't justify the upgrade cost.

Re: F1A cog project

wanted to go to track tonight never made it out. Had to much to finish up at work...but the new clutch feels WAY better than the RST. I switched to RXT plates and man the thing feels SOOO brutal right now. I actually got a little scared when I did a mild pull on the street. With a Cog the boost comes on instantly and throws you straight back into your seat and the torque feels like someone sitting on your chest...good to have 800hp at the wheels...wow!!!!!!

Re: F1A cog project

That pig is around 3800 pounds. It does pretty good for a pump gas car.
