Sway bar bushing
OK, I give up. I can not figure out what size replacement bushing to order for my front sway bar.
The specs on our site say - Stabilizer Bar 23 mm (.905 in.) solid & Stabilizer Bar 26.5 mm (1.04 in.) solid The bushing has a 29 stamped on it Summit says - 30 mm So what the heck is the size of our sway bar???????????????anger:

Get one a little smaller, and sand it out a little before installing. Sheesh!

Let me know if it really fits. There's a Ford Parts guru on the net that swears Ford only put 30mm bars on 99 and up... to 2004 at least, model mustangs. I have seen a few different spec sheets (Bullitt) with other sized bars, but "his" answer is confirmed by blah blah straight from Ford. I have seen on more than one occation, Ford parts info is not accurate. What I do know is I have a 35mm hollow bar on the front of my car. Let me know what you have, please.

What I have always done is take a crescent wrench and tighten it around the SB and then measure the wrench opening.

I wasn't sure if Ford put different bars on the same type cars (Mach1) or not. Like I said, I've seen the Ford parts information catalog/database wrong before. This make 2 different parts on the Mach1 that I have confirmed that on. But, you can't tell a parts guru that and convince him otherwise.
