Watching the rear end collisions I thought why don't cars have crash detection emergency flashers? Most people are so stunned that they don't remember those flashers do warn on coming traffic. For that most people don't even turn the flashers on when in a fender bender, flat tire or stall out.
I had a buddy run out of gas and walk to the station. He returned to a rearend smashed collision of his car. He left it with no flashers on in fear it would kill his battery. He couldn't get out of the road completely due to the side rails. so some helped him out by crashing into it.
