convertible
Has there ever been a convertible mach 1? I saw an early 70's the other day it was painted with the mach 1 colors. I have never seen 1 before

If we're talking about classics I'm pretty sure they're wasn't. Part of the Mach package was being a fastback. I got asked all the time if my 70 was a Mach because of the stripes.

Re: convertible
You are correct. Ford has never released a convertible Mach 1. I've seen convertibles that people have made to look like a Mach 1 but they're just clones.

Re: convertible
That's what I thought but was not sure. The car was a 71. I just saw it being towed down the highway so I could not ask the owner about it.
