Is there really actual true real McCoy Roush edition Mach 1s????

If so what are all the specs on it???

How quick are they????

How rare are they????

Last thing i heard was Roush was supose to be working on a "Mach1" model for Ford. Roush may have there own "generic" version of a mach1 running around but the Ford/Roush sanctioned model... i have not seen or heard anything else since that last report i read somewhere which i think was at www.stangsunleashed.com..... In fact, here's the article. Looks like prototypes already exist. But i havent seen any.

(Dearborn, Michigan) StangsUnleashed.com - A reliable source told StangsUnleshed.com that Roush is working on the next-generation Mach1. Prototype models already exist at a Roush facility in Michigan.

As far as a production model S197 Mach1 goes, another Mustang variant (not the California Special or GT500) is also in the works. Wheter we'll see that variant or the Mach1 first depends on economic conditions.

StangsUnleashed will make more information available next week.

There has only been one Roush Mach 1 so far Brian has it...03 I think...maybe 04 a white one

Here is a dealer done clone... looks pretty good!

I think ROUSH380R is the only guy that actually went to Roush to have a full factory conversion done. I think Vic229 has the Roush side exhaust and rear but a Cobra R front, I have the Roush front and rear (but I have Borla side exhaust) and most of the stage II suspension, I've seen others with at least the front bumper. As far as I know though, no other full factory conversions on the 03-04s.

Yep he is the only one!!! I sure love his car the best of both worlds...awesome motor, fantastic looks, best handling... it's a Roush!!! One of a kind.

We all have opinions thats why we have different cars ...but don't try & keep up with this one on any track or curvy road! That is what I mean by the best of both worlds...IMNSHO...hehe :LAUGH:

OH I agree...especially with the handling. If memory serves me right, the Roush kits can get the stang to pull almost a full G.

I just dont' care for the look of the different combo.

If the Mach1 does come back, i would like to see it come down the Ford line just like the Shelby's. If Roush wants there hands in it, then they can just do the engine mods. I dont want Roush names all over it or some cheesy generic rendition by Roush alone. Its must be sanction Ford for me to even consider buying one. I wouldnt mind a mach1 body design by Ford and Roush doing the engine mods. Or all Ford concept mach1 would be great and leave Roush out of it all together.

It does bring back memories of the 69 and 70 Mach's, Rick.

I have allways heard that Ford contracts out to Roush, and Saleen for some of the engineering work on the low volume/high performance editions. Is it possable that that is what we are looking at?
