Window Switch help!! Please

I have been trying to install my nitrosu window switch and have looked at sooo many threads and still donig get it! I wired up my whole nitrosu system and it works perfect and now this window switch is kicking my butt. It is a summit brand window switch. I see some hook it up to the wot switch. Please help here is the link to summit with the instructions! Please help

i've been using a nitrous kit on my mach, but never bought this part for it, wanted to but never did, well one suggesting i would make is look threw some of the threads of guys who use nitrous kits, pm them and ask your question, when i need a answer and can't find it on a thread i just do that and most of the time i get a reply pretty quick, good luck and i hope this helps out

I use a MSD window switch. I get my RPM signal from a MSD tach adapter. There are two wires that you use for activation of whatever your controlling. They grey wire is to ground a device(RELAY) or a yellow wire to power a relay. You have to be VERY careful because a small ameperage spike will fry your unit. Thats why I ONLY control my solenoids through a relay. Otherwise The power and grounds are like anything else. On YOUR system, the yellow wire goes to an RPM signal. BUY an MSD tach adapter, its well worth it. Black to ground, Red to 12V. If using the purple wire, this will only activate the nitrous in the selected window, ex. You want your spray to come on at 3k, and shut off @ 6k, so @ 2900 the nitrous wont work, and @ 6100 it will be off. The blue wire will keep the nitrous on EXCEPT for in the desired window. So using the same 3k, 6k senario, The nitrous would be on @ idle to 2900, turn off from 3000 to 6000 and come back in @ 6100.....NOT GOOD! I would set up the unit with the purple wire. ya the msd doesnt work the insturctions. soo where do i hook up my purple wire to then? and where can i get my rpm signal from? (but the tach adapter where does tht hook up to?

I would use the purple wire to ground a relay that would energize your solenoids. The tach adapter attaches inline from one of your coil packs. MSD's instructions are pretty good. You can use the yellow wire to your tach signal. If you dont wanna use a tach adapter you can splice into the tach signal at the PCM. Only thing is I dont know what pin to use.

hmmm i get it all noe except the purple wire.... Where would that hook to? The window switch doesnt come with a relay. So where would i hook it up to? I can use a pin in the computer for the yellow. red to 12v. blacl to ground. then purple too?

Ok so here is what i cmae up with. Black to ground-EASY Red same switch i use to activate nitrous (that will work right) Yellow to coil (not red wire other wire which is i belive green and white is that correct) purple to where the two selonoids are grounded to the relay. Which in my case they both go back to a yellow wire on the relay if i cut that and hookup the window switch to them it would work?
