How many animals have you taken out with your Mach 1 - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

I have killed (accidentally) 2 animals with my X-pipe (do to it being so low to the ground). Got the squirrel on my way to work this morning. Just curious if anyone else hits animals with their exhaust or front bumper cover on a consistant basis

I have only killed 1 animal my entire life and that was a bird that flew into a HUGE Cadilac Fleetwood I was driving on I-80 somewhere in Ohio.

Living so close to the river, I've killed at three times that many.

Got a skunk at 75mph with the 83 Shelby. I didn't think the smell would ever go away.

A bird with the 78 Fairmont and a deer with the company van.

Thankfully none.

The saving grace for my mach is that since it's not a daily driver, it never sees rain, snow, or even night driving.

I prefer to hit them with my .308 or 12 gauge. Not as much damage to the vehicle that way.

I was an body shop estimator for a year...we had 2-3 deer hits come in every week in the peak season. (lower Delaware)

I have killed 1 bird that got caught in the windshield wiper on the drivers side. Killed 1 cat.

On my 1k I killed a bird one time doing a wheelie in my neighborhood. That was gross picking that bird crap out of my shirt and backpack.

Way back when I owned a VW GTi that got hit at 2:00 AM in the morning by at least a 10 point buck as I was coming home from a party (it ran into my drivers side fender/door). It was so big at first I thought it was a horse...scared the sh!t out of me! No body to be found afterwards, just blood, fur, and snot all down the damaged portion of the car...$3500 worth.

I was also a detailer at one point....I had to Hose the guts off before the tech would touch it...saw some pretty nasty stuff

Several thousand LOVE BUGS

The only thing that damaged the car was the bugs.

Almost ran off the road to get the cat.

j/k'g about the cat but I like dogs much more. :ORANGE:

in the mach, i've killed 2 rabbits by breaking their necks with the chin spoiler. one was at like 35mph and the other was at 65mph. the faster one got stuck and ended up being dragged for a bit until i hit a bump and it fell off. and when i had my ranger, i was doing about 65 and had a bird just drive straight into my windshield and make a horrible crunching sound before landing in the bed. the cool part is that it didn't break the windshield though.

One large dog with my 65 Corvette. Not a pretty sight. Fiberglass everywhere. The dog ran right across the highway. I was doing 60MPH. I slammed on the brakes but hit the dog and it went under the car and rolled like crazy. I'm a dog lover and that really shook me up.
