Re: Anybody runing H&R Super Sports? Rubbing?

i have H&R SS and 315's...the drive into my parking lot was really steep so i got some rubbing on the back actually it gouged the hell out of them. but that was an exreme rear axle articulation(sp?).as long as you don't have anything like that around you'll be fine.
i say get the H&R race springs(red) and i'll trade you my Supersports

Re: Anybody runing H&R Super Sports? Rubbing?

The car will sit slightly lower with stock ISO's because the material is not as stiff and will be worn.

Cool Re: Anybody runing H&R Super Sports? Rubbing?

Get some poly isolators from Energy or Prothane. I got a set of Prothane from MM.

I got SS's and not 315's but 295's and I got no rubbing. H&R SS is the way to go!

Re: Anybody runing H&R Super Sports? Rubbing?

I have FRPP FR500s and 275/35-18 GS-D3s with H&R SS springs and I have zero rubbing issues.

Re: Anybody runing H&R Super Sports? Rubbing?

Thanks guys for all the replies! I appreciate it! Has anyone ever run the Eibach Sportline springs! Just curious! Also if I went with the H&R SS how long do you think the Shocks would last before I need to change them?, upgrade them! My car also is not a daily driver!!!!

I would honestly upgrade your shocks and struts at the same time you do the springs for a number of reasons. First of all, the stock shocks/struts will not be able to handle the new spring rates and will give you a horrible ride and handling quality. Secondly, it's easy to put the shocks and struts in while you're already doing the springs. But to answer your question, the stock shocks and struts would hold up for about 6 months under average driving habits. After that, they'll be blown and leaking. Just do it right from the get go... a Mach1 is worth it.

I'm using Eibach Sportlines...no problems except it's harder to get in and out of the car cause it's so low.
