+1 for the silicon spray. I used it on my R1 in Hawaii. When I shipped it the guy though the bike was brand new, I laughed and said no it is 2 years old. You know how much aluminum those things...

That is why I just deflate the tires, no real damage. I have just cost them a little time and during that time they may figure out what dips@$% they are. I tried the police once for this problem...

What I do is carry a valve core remover. If I find a new door ding and I am sure it is the car next to me they get two flats and a nice card saying "thanks for the new door ding, have a nice day...

This is good advice. Get the car running and tuned 1st, see how it pulls with the 3.55 and go from there. Because if you over gear it, you will be sorry when you hit the rev limiter before the 1000...

No name really, I just call her the mach or the blue car. On rare occasions I call her old blue. I guess I stopped naming my cars when I started dating my wife in 1994.
