Re: Occasional white exhaust smoke

It seems like these breathers and oil catch cans are a hit and miss or just temporary fixes.

I don't know what to do....

Anybody else that has one of these breathers installed and can confirm a permanent fix?

Re: Occasional white exhaust smoke

I've read that guys with oil catch cans and even new valve seals have it show again. I was going to do the valve seals but if it doesn't permanently fix the issue then it isn't worth it.

I was...

Re: Occasional white exhaust smoke

Thanks for the input guys but I was hoping someone that has replaced the seals can add his 2 cents.

I was wondering if it came back after a while even with the new seals so I know if it's worth...

Occasional white exhaust smoke

I've done some searching on this site and have found out that a lot of people seem to get the occasional white puff of exhaust smoke and is apparently normal on the 4Vs. Especially on start-up.

My...

Re: Coin holder delete question

Yeah...I looked into them from reading the thread and couldn't find anything.

I was hoping somebody would know of another place but thanks for the input.

Re: Coin holder delete question

I am currently looking for something like this. I want the shift pattern instead of lettering.

Anybody know where I can find one? Couldn't find anything on Ebay or Dallas Mustang.

Re: Pro-kit installed - rears uneven!?

The key is to be on a perfectly levelled ground. My garage is slightly on a slant and it makes a BIG difference.

I've parked it many different places and somewhere it still shows off but it is...

Re: Pro-kit installed - rears uneven!?

Just like any other set of springs I guess. Time consuming.

Fender hole measurements?

I'm about to order a different badge to replace my fender pony's on the sides and was wondering if it will cover the locating holes of the existing emblems.

Has anyone measured how wide by tall...

Re: Post your custom headlights pics

Tinted OEM is what I currently have and wanted a more modern look with projectors. Not a lot out there that I like though.

Re: Post your custom headlights pics

These are the ones I'm considering myself but am worried about the quality. Haven't heard too many good things about aftermarket headlights from American Muscle.

These projectors are the ONLY...

Re: Post your custom headlights pics

I should've mentioned that I'm not interested in any with the halos. Smoked projectors are fine but no halo ones please.

Small pic but they do look good :)

I've heard the ones from AM have a lot of condensation build-up. Even after sealing them.

Thanks for posting.

Re: Tranny fluid change?

The only issue with mine is 1-2 shift. 2-3 shift is just beautiful. Same with the rest of the gears.

I'll give it some time I guess.

Post your custom headlights pics

I've decided to get smoked aftermarket headlights.

I'm considering projectors but there aren't any I really like (that I've seen so far)

Post pics of yours to help me decide what to get.

Re: Tranny fluid change?

It's only been a couple of weeks with it.

What's average break-in period for a shifter?

So I had an MGW installed and am not happy with my 1-2shifts. Too notchy still going into second. I was hoping the MGW would make it go away. That's what I've read anyways and my friends' feels...
