17x9.5?
Can we fit 17x9.5 all the way around? I want as wide as possible of a rim underneath her for track only when I pick up my stickies.... I don't want a staggered set (x9'sF/x10.5R) due to rotating them. So I figure, a set of x9.5's on all four corners will work better if they fit..

Re: 17x9.5?
OK, ummm thanks for not answering my question... Why even bother replying if that's all you were gonna say? That was kinda pointless, I know the x9s fit... but I'm asking if x9.5 will fit, obviously for a reason!
Does anyone know?

Re: 17x9.5?
No problem.
I don't think that the 9.5 will fit in the front without rubbing. Even a 17x9 with a 275 will rub but it will only rub when turning with the wheel completely cut. What size tire do you plan on running? Why do you want that extra .5"? |

Re: 17x9.5?
Partial looks, but mostly function.. I'll most likely go with the x9's but someone I know is selling a set of 17x9.5's cheaper then I can get the x9's for...

Re: 17x9.5?
I don't exactly know your answer, but the Cobra R from 2000 ran the 9.5's all around with no issues, but it was also a "different" car, too. Could research that and see what the offset's and backspacing's are compared to our wheels.

Re: 17x9.5?
Well, I've got the IRS like the R did and I'll have a bit stiffer spring. Thanks for that info I hadn't thought of that.. So, I maybe able to do it... The research continues... Thanks!

Re: 17x9.5?
I expect backspacing is important as you go this wide on the front. I saw a 01 cobra with 9.5" ARE TT2 wheels on the front. They did stick out some.
