Buick vs Ford shoot out - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

I set another personal best on satuday at the shoot out. 12.30 @ 110 NA and 11.44 @ 122 on a 100 shot. I will have some links for vids later. I was pretty pumped.

Rex has already given me the down-low on how to avoid getting kicked off the track. Sounds like the voice of experience here:
1) use your middle name or a different form of your first name
2) go to other tracks in the area
3) try not to stand out (they would never notice my bright orange car LOL)

I really don't want to hack up my interior to put in a cage but now I am want a 10 second slip. haha, it never ends.

Congrats on the pass/es Rob! I guess Rex truly does have the down low.........I'll remember those tips.

Kyle.............I hate you. I want stage 3, rock-n-roll, car shaking cams now. It is all I can do to refrain from pulling my motor once again. I know, I keep saying "I'm done" but as Rex tells it "It's like a heroine junkie"...........I just need to get my six speed to pacify my cravings. I hope to have it by the end of the month but then, what the he!!, it's coming into winter so why not pull it, rebuild it, stud it and do a cam upgrade? I agree with ROB, I don't want to cage it.

Now, HERE IS THE QUESTION: WHO won the shootout and Rob did you win your race or get it handed to ya!

Miss you guys............will be home the 18th.

We beat the buick boys 55 - 32. Looks like they are going to have to have the chebby boys come next year just to make it competitive.

Yes, I won my race. Beat him by a several car lengths. Nitrous is gooooood.

I plan on calling the shop tomorrow. I hope to have the 4.56's in by the end of next week!

On that last run I had a 1.62 short time. It was spinning pretty good also. Not too bad for a suspension not really set up exclusively for drag racing. I have a set of 4.30s I am wanting to install. Would also like to do a tubular k and a arms. We will see what the winter brings.
