Looking to replace headrests
I own an '03 Mach1 and I've noticed the headrests are different--not as functional and comfortable. In order to make contact I have to lean my head way back. I saw an '04 that has larger headrests that seem to conform to the back of ones head (concave surface) and I'm told they tilt. Mine are very small with no concave and don't tilt. Does anyone know where I can obtain the better headrest and if so how I can remove the existing ones. After pulling them up as high as they'll go I can't see how to easily remove them. I'm hoping I don't have to pull the seat apart to do so.

Re: Looking to replace headrests
Sounds like you have the Non IUP (Interior Upgrade Package) Headrests. The IUPs headrests came on 03s and 04s.
Trying to get the headrests alone used could be tough. Most go with seats. I would ask ITLRUN (Joe Charles) for a price on a new set. http://www.mach1registry.org/forums/member.php?u=1034 LOOKnGOOD may have some: http://www.mach1registry.org/forums/member.php?u=10314 MPS: http://stores.ebay.com/mpsautosalvage

Re: Looking to replace headrests
There is a small button that needs to be pushed in with something like a slim jim or a coat hanger... the button would be reached be sliding the hanger or slim jim fron behing your seat. You would slide it down the bar that holds your head rest in place.
