Re: JBA shorty headers

- 10 hp if you pay full $700 list for them. Not worth the $ spent. Go long tubes or go home

Re: JBA shorty headers

I got the JBA shorty headers because I want to stay emission legal. I know you will give up a few HP but not worth it to me.

Re: JBA shorty headers

Some say as much as 10hp if you dont go by the PR / BS.I have FFRP shorty headers and only gained 4hp 5tq . But i had them Jet -hot coated and after driving the car hard 30 min later you can touch them . Also emissions is getting tough here too (using visual check ) and I dont have to worry about speed bumps !

.5 RWHP gained for each $100 spent? Definitely not worth it.

The most important thing about them is they act as a heatsink for cylinders 7 & 8.[engine tick] Of course the slight horsepower and torque gain along with being emissions legal is well worth the cost of these headers. With times being what they are, MORE not less regulations are coming. They ARE a best buy.

Re: JBA shorty headers

I'll keep the $700 in my pocket and stay with the stockers. With the supposed far stricter emissions they supposedly have for the future it won't matter what you have on your car. Our cars will be outlawed.

I had two chamber stainless Flows and with them came the drone. I changed to a complete cat back from JBA. No more drone and I love the sound. To your last question= Yes.
