Unhappy Front End Noise

Ever since I have owned my car I have been experiancing an annoying noise in my front end. I would say its a clunk its more like a rattle when ever I turn but mainly when I hit bumps even minor ones. I have made sure everthing is tight and couldn't find anything lose. Any Ideas?

Look at your ball joints and tie rod ends. the rubber bushings might be cracked. All of the lube seaps out and it will start making noise. The steering wheel will start to shake too.

Re: Front End Noise

It sounds like your anti-rattle clips might be missing from the front brake pads. If they are missing it will rattle when you hit bumps. You should be able to pick up new anti-rattle clips at any local NAPA or other parts store.

The Motorcraft replacement pads have them. You shoud be able to see them behind the wheel. One on the top of the pad and one one the bottom.
