Re: 2011 v6 mustang road test

Considering the 2011 sixxer weighs in at just a bit over 3400 lbs, I'd say it's gonna probably raise more than a few eyebrows when the road test results start rolling in. The base Camaro and Challenger won't hold a candle performance-wise.

Still doesn't diminish my want for a new 5.0 though.

Re: 2011 v6 mustang road test

I have(my wife has) an 05 4.0 and it is pretty peppy. It has cold air intake and custom tune from Bama Chips. The cold air kit & tune made a huge differance. Would like to get her a new one just can't afford it!Click image for larger version

Re: 2011 v6 mustang road test

Im impressed with the Mustang and Camaro. I cant believe that it seems like our cars are becoming obselete. I guess no more picking on V6 guys...

I still think we can take them, heck, now the GT's will give us a run for our money... Well atleast since the Mach has a few mods it should still hold its own.

Well a 1970 SCJ 428 is obselet by today's standards, but man do they turn heads. Thats one thing about cool cars, they will always be cool.

Good point. I never thought of it like that. I just hope then in 40 years the 03/04 Mach is still a headturner. Id like to look back and say, "Yep, I had one of those". I'll be able to watch Barrett Jackson, or whatever it is then, and see one go off for $150,000+....and say "yep...a red with IUP, just like that"

40 years from now $150,000 will be the price of a ratty used Mustang. A 1969 Mach with 428CJ could be bought new for under $4000 in 1969. Today one in that same like new condition can go for $75,000 to $100,000. If prices continue to climb like they have over the last 40 years figure a really nice '03/04 Mach I in 2050 for around $750,000.

why would you buy a 2010? Everyone knew that the 2011 was going to kill the 10 in performance. we knew well over a year or so ago!
