Wheel/Tire Combo Question
Hey,
I am new here and sure this has been talked about alot. I am changing up my wheels on my '03 AB Mach and want some help deciding. I plan to run a black bullitt w/ 18x9 in the front and 18x10 in the rear. I also want to run a 265/35/18 in the front. I have debated between the Nitto NT555 and the BFG KDW's. My original plan was to run a 295/35/18 in the rear....but I do not think the NT555 comes in a 295/35.... A side note is I have heard nitto run small. The KDW's will run me about $250 more for the setup and I am not sure if I want to do that. Should I run 285/35's? Is there a better size 295? or buy the KDW's? I would like to keep my speedo as close as possible. My car has a cobra IRS w/ eibach lowering springs so I want to make sure I don't rub also. Thanks in advance, Nick

Re: Wheel/Tire Combo Question
WHAT HE SAID
KDW > NT555 Personally I would get either the hypercoated FR500's or the black! Bullits are overrated IMO! But do what ya want, it's not my car! oh, and Hey Nick!

Re: Wheel/Tire Combo Question
Welcome to the NEWB! hahahah
I have had both, and IMO I would go with the KDW. I have them on the GT right now, running 295/35-18 in the rear and 265/35-18 in the front. They stick like a mo fo and in the rain they are amazing. Go KDW you won't regret it!

Re: Wheel/Tire Combo Question
Also, I had 285/35-18 rear and 255/35-18 front on my DSG mach was lowered with H&R SS (lower than the eibach) and I had no rubbing issues.
I would get a 10" rim and throw some 295's on there. It will give you a wide looking stance in the rear on this body style stang! And I say FR500 FTW....DO NOT put bullits on the Mach!

Re: Wheel/Tire Combo Question
Well tell me how you really feel!
I am trying to justify dropping the other $250 on the kdw's...sounds like everyone likes them. Also sounds like the 295's will fit just fine. Now I just need to finalize my wheels choice....since ya'll are making me go back on what I was thinking.
