procharger 3 core IC, L bracket mounting?

I have the IC basically in place using the bottom mounts but not sure about the L bracket. I removed the center security star on the hood latch. If I mount it so it the piece hanging down is towards the front of the car it comes nowhere close to lining up with the hole in the hood latch but if I mout that piece towards the radiator its probably a good 1.5" away from the bracket on the top of the IC...

thoughts?

Re: procharger 3 core IC, L bracket mounting?

Mine was the same way. I pitched it and fabbed up my own from another piece of aluminum. I had to modify or machine most of the "kit" including the mounting plate. I didn't much care for their soft threaded rod mounting "studs" either since one of them was too short anyway, so I used my own. It was worth it in the end though.
