Clutch stiffness?

just had a ford racing clutch installed in my mach and the pedal feels way too soft, is there a way to harden it? and if so will it wear out the clutch faster?

Re: Clutch stiffness?

Atop the pedals there is a plastic Arc with teeth. with one hand push the clutch pedal and the other push the arc. 1-3 clicks will make the pedal harder and disengage the clutch sooner.

be warned, putting too much pressure/not enough slack, the tob may wear prematurely.

If you get into traffic, you will be happy.
Leave it alone after adjustment.

Re: Clutch stiffness?

You could try a speed release quadrant from Jegs. I put one in my car and the pedal is stiff as hell. It closely matches the factory feel

Re: Clutch stiffness?

I just went to the dealer and told them I needed a clutch for an 03 Mach and took whatever he gave me it looks exactly like the clutch I took of of it idk why it's as soft I personally like the stiff pedal feel so if I adjust the thing by the pedals
Will it mess it up faster? I hate drivin it like this it looks like I've never drove stick in my life :-(
