Re: So it begins again (well sort of)

I've never had a brand new sporty car get as much attention as my Mach 1 has in the last year that I've owned it. Some are clearly admiring looks, but others are of the "look at that new Mustang" variety. It's a car that never fails to make me proud to be driving it.

Re: So it begins again (well sort of)

I had a 45 minute discussion with a guy about the 01 Mach 1 he had once.....LOL, he was utterly convinced it was an 01!! Even showed me pics of a nice Torch Red Mach 1...you should have seen his face when his wife told him "No honey it was an 03!" I let him down easy anyway.

Mach 1's are so great...such a neat driving car. Our Black one get's few looks until all of a sudden they realize it is not a usual Mustang! Fun...

Re: So it begins again (well sort of)

last week, i was driving through my neighborhood and a toddler, wearing nothing but a diaper, stopped what he was doing and pointed at my car coming up the street. cant list all the times kids in the backseat of their parents' cars sit up in their car seats and stare.

Re: So it begins again (well sort of)

I've had people ask me to rev the Mach, because their kids that are in the backseat of their **** mobiles love mustangs. Naturally, I make sure the fuzz isn't around and pepper the throttle into a few higher RPM's. Always get's everyone to go O.o

You don't think with the new 5.0s out, that now with our Machs were going to hear...."Is that the NEW 5.0!?" Already went thru, "Is that an '05", when they came out...NAH?

Re: So it begins again (well sort of)

I remember when I was about 20, yes I do remember. I loved looking at hot girls 20-30 years old. When I turned 30 it was 20-40 year old. Turned 40 it was now 20-50 year olds. Now that I'm 54 I look at girls 20-60 WOW 40 years of girls to look at. But nothing can beat the age difference of people looking in awe at the Mach 5 year old to 85.

Re: So it begins again (well sort of)

I was getting off the freeway one time and pulled up next to a school bus full of kids. They all started peering out the windows and yelling "Cool Car!!" I revved it up for em and they went nuts!

Gotta love it

Long story short now I have to tell people it has neither of the 5.0s.

I wonder if it was this guy?
