What, No John Force Thread?

I know you youngin's are probably all butt hurt because a 61 year old man dun showed y'all how to git-r-done!! But I do believe that Bob Tasca III deserves a great big ole "thank you" for taking out Matt Hagan in round one at Pomona, paving the way for John Force to win his unprecedented 15th NHRA Funny Car Championship! Way to go guys, and may the Ford be with you! LOL!

Re: What, No John Force Thread?

I remember when Force first came into NHRA in the late 70's. I thought he had a cool last name for NHRA. It would take a prodigy to break his records.

Re: What, No John Force Thread?

Some good drag racing. According to NATIONAL DRAGSTER, the awards banquet is tonight, and can be seen at NHRA.COM tomorrow. Bob Tasca should have a nice gift from Force under the tree this year. LOCOMOTION

John Force does get excited. I like that. I like Ashley Force Hood better. She can drive circles around Danica Patrick.

Loved watching him jump into the crowd and then run along the stands. Shows he really does care about the fans.

He sure does and he really goes all out for the kids, I have felt that he is the ambassador of NHRA for sometime.

Thumbs up Re: What, No John Force Thread?

John Force is the same on and off camera, and a model for us all. Unlike Cup, in NHRA the winner doesn't get help from the sanctioning body. He is, and has been, for real.

The Tascas are great for us up here. They are trying to build Englishtown North from New England Dragway with their own $$$. Years ago (2003) Bob Tasca gave me my runnerup goodies at their Ford Showdown here. Ralph Poirier always has time for a word when I swing by their trailer. You can imagine how glad Leslie & I are to see him where he and the team are now.
