Stereo, speaker question

Its a Kenwood DPX503, here is a picture of the back of it http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...DPX503&tp=5684 Notice how there are 4 RCA inputs and the harness that comes with it (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1207055...s.html?tp=2977) only has 2 outputs. With none plugged in the music was quiet and somewhat muffled. each input is basically each corner of speakers and plugging it in made those speakers louder and clearer.

I had to mess around with it till i found the sound i liked best but my question is: Why do i have to choose? i feel like my music is lacking some background parts depending on song and i think this is why. is there no way to make all my speakers sound loud and clear instead of only 2 sets?

Re: Stereo, speaker question

I install a kenwood and hooked it up to the mach 360 with th harness you have. The RCAs should be plugged into the subwoofer input on the reciever. There should be an option in menu to turn the subwoofers on and to adjust them. You can also set up the rest of the speakers in the car and adjust the high pass filter. Mine sounds off at 1st until i adjusted those setting .... looking in your manual because sometimes the options are hard to find.
