Moroso Coolant Tank Question? - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

First time doing this sorry for the dumb question. I am going to install this soon, but my question is on AM instructions it says
"The coolant level sensor cannot be reinstalled in the Moroso expansion tank. The plug can be left disconnected and will not affect the coolant level warning light, the light will remain off."

Will this throw a code or CEL cause I have to go through danm inspection this month.... Anyone know? thanks in advance

I installed the Moroso coolant tank yesterday, and there is no fitting on it for a coolant sensor. But, on my '04 Mach 1, there is no coolant sensor in the stock tank, so it was no problem. The AM instructions are probably very generalized to cover as many applications as possible.

I didn't do anything except a direct remove and replace install. The new tank goes on exactly the same as the stock tank, and the fill and burp procedure is the same as with a stock tank.
