Which wheels - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

It will be a little while before I get wheels, but I'm wanting to finally make up my mind up on which route to go.

I'm in between several wheels as of now.

This is the car now, I'm going for the red and black theme. NO chrome! I'm actually going to get black 3.5" tips.

1. DD 17x10.5 AFS Mach wheels and get the powder coated semi gloss black with 2 of my factory wheels.

2. AFS 17x9 & 10.5 with black inserts.

3. 03/04 Black Cobra wheels 17x9 & 10.5.

4. Some other black wheel!

I don't think I'd be a huge fan of the black tips, but to each their own. As far as rims go have you looked into black fr500?

Those wheels are on a local TR Mach, I never see the black tips. I want the car to be different.

I'm only going with 17's, I do love those wheels on s197's.

Oh 17s? Id go with the afs with the Mac black. I picked up some 17x9 chrome afs wheels with mac black and I love them

since we both have the same color cars lol id have to say i love the way mine looks with the afs 10.5 black inserts. cant go wrong with them

I agree! Does anyone have pics of the AFS DD wheels powder coated? Such a tough decision. Hopefully they're not sold out when the time comes.

Might not be my lingo, but I would go for those over anything on the list above.

If going black IMO Gloss black looks better than matte versions. Matte finish just looks like a broke-**** rattle can job.

I would go with them if I was choosing an 18".

if you go with any aftermarket black wheel 17"-18" , just make sure they have a polished lip. Makes the wheels stand out more vs just a solid black wheel

I agreed with that until I saw a member of this sites TR Mach with all black Cobra wheels. He had 17x9 though. I want to see them with 17x10.5's in the rear. Anyone have a pic?

I know I miss the deep dish. In the futre I might buy the 17x10.5 Afs wheels and get em painted just like the ones in the pic. Cuz I dont believe they make the chrome with mac black anymore..

That's where I got the black tip idea, I'm considering doing wheels like that.

My vote is either the 2010 black GT500 rims
or
Mach DD rims with stock up front and have powercoated black, but leave the lip silver or do a red pin strip around the out side of the rim

I'm leaning towards the ALL black as well. I can get the Cobra's with tires for under 1k. Mach DD's, just two of them are $480, then gotta get 4 of them PC'd at $100 +/- a wheel.

Anyone have pics of a RED new edge with the cobra wheels 17x9 Front/ 17x10.5 Rear?
