Almost done with my loan!

So I bought my car september 27th 2009
Had a 60 month loan on the mach. Yesterday I was doing some math to figure out what I owe (I got a crazy offer on her that I'm tempted to say **** it) only to find out **** iv owned this car for 2.5 years already.. I need to keep it and pay that bish off.. I'm about to be 21.

How cool is it that iv about paid off my first car! With the help of the banks of course.. but **** I kept saying I have nothing to be proud of working I'm busting my *** 60 hrs a week and have nothing to show for it.. now I do. I bust my *** and now only have a little while longer to pay off my car and then I can take the extra 312 a month and slap it into my mach and get that son of a gun blown!

Sorry I'm just happy for once lmao..
On a side note.. I got offered 16.5k for the car yesterday.. 04 mach body has 117k engine has 40k along with rest of drivetrain..
I owe about 5k on the car.. I want a cobra.. would it be better just to wait and pay this off (mostly when I get my taxes will it be paid off) and have both a cobra a mach and a bike (looking at crotch rockets today) at 22 lol

Re: Almost done with my loan!

Congratz on that!

I purchased my Mach 1 with less than 20k miles on it in 2007 and I have 4 payments left so I know the feelin, cant wait to have the title.... hmmmmm mebbe I should just pay it now to get the title heh. Anyway congratz.

P.S. Pay it off, then it's full profit if you sell it. Then again owning a car and having the title and knowing that the car is yours... well there arent many other ways to describe it except awesome. My first car I paid off was the best feeling in the world, at 1 point I owned 3 cars and not a car payment to pay, felt great.

Re: Almost done with my loan!

I understand your enthusiasm completely! I have 4 payments left on my 04 mach 1 that I purchased when I was 23 Ironically, I got a steal on an 03 Mach 1 last month and paid for it cash so I already have the title to it and it does feel great, Congrats

If someone offered you 16.5, I'd jump all over that w/o a 2nd thought.

Re: Almost done with my loan!

yea dude for 16.5 you could easily get a "newer" mach with less miles

i bought mine with 19k miles 2 years ago. and paid it off few months back before hitting 30k miles.

its my second car getting paid off and it is a good feeling. trust me.

That's who offered me the money... the guy doing the body work.. I ended out coming out on top.. court ordered him to pay 2600 and then my mirror cost 650 to fix but the work is all being included in the original so for 1800 (yea he cut me a break) he is fixing it and he offered me 16.5 because he had a "older mach and loved it"

Re: Almost done with my loan!

Don’t buy a cobra!
There are what… over a 75,000 cobras (93-04) on the road today? (Correct me if I’m wrong)
And only 7,000+ Mach 1s!!! (03-04)
Supercharge your Mach 1. Hmmm Cobra power with the Mach 1 style, and uniqueness. Can’t be beat!

But congrats on getting close to paying it off!

Re: Almost done with my loan!

Pay it off and save your money for a house, or just save money in general for a while. Having two nice rides at the age of 22 is "cool" but so is having one nice car and a nice chunk of change in the bank. No need to go take on more debt.

I have decided to pay this sucker off.. (putting another 3k into it to get it gone quicker when taxes and my motor sells.. ) than after that I will have 312 a month to put into building my car...

I currently have 1 vehicle paid off.. my moms 98 navigator. I took over payments and now took the vehicle so I have a d.d. for when my car is down and out

Re: Almost done with my loan!

I feel your excitement, I sent my last payment about a month ago and it is now officially mine, received the title about 2 weeks ago. Purchased it in 2008 with 27k miles on it and now its up to 65k
