Homewood Suites treats us like Gold and do a super job for us. Yes, they are well compensated but they make it worthwhile. As far as the Cruise, I firmly believe in the democratic system of voting and if a majority want to do it, then fine I'm good with that too. And of course, Curt you're right .... It's all good.
Being my first year, I have to say that the Homewood Suites is over the top!! Excellent hospitality and friendly staff. Plus, the scrambled eggs were the best I've ever had!! I did the survey they sent me and gave them a 10 all the way. In my business, I do a lot of traveling and this was one of the best hotels I've been to. I think next year I will definitely plan do the Sat cruise. Sounds like a lot of fun, but will be tough on an old man!!

I vote to hangout at the pool and drink and eat . I can sit in traffic here in Balto. on any given day . After walking around all day in Carlisle the only thing i want to do is chill out !

I always keep back at least two to three cars lengths behind all traffic when traveling. I never get up close to any vehicle, especially the big trucks. I did pick up a chip on the way to the fairgrounds Sat, a rock came off a logging truck, skipped down the road and smacked my hood even though I was three lengths back!! Time to try that Dr. Color Chip!!

We were in heavy rain and amid trucks. Think one of them might have been dropping gravel. Because the rain was so heavy you couldn't see or hear anything...

Re: Carlisle 1-3 June 2012 ....Who's going?

Jeff, hate to hear about the paint on your car. I can tell you that the two trips I made to Birmingham (MCA 30th and Mustang 45th shows) brought out the worst in my factory paint. Eventually the factory paint just has to be redone on the front. It doens't even take rocks to do it. Bugs are like a sandblaster.

I've started to post up some of my pics from the show. Check them out in the gallery, and I'll put some of the more interestign ones in the thread.

Told you that you needed new glasses. She had to be legal...she was one of the Hooters 'school girls' you liked so much. Only problem is that she kept asking for Frank! How messed up is that?

I have a video of parade that is 15 minutes long. It shows all the cars that were in parade. It is a .mts file and is 1.24gb. Is there a way to post it here?

Thanks
Dave

Well it's not quite the Photoshow I was hoping to produce but I became ill on Saturday at the show and being a no show at the cookout on Saturday night made for a smaller show, sorry Russ. If anyone wants to add some pictures just send them to me and I'll either add them or start a Part2. Enjoy the show.
