Re: Maximum rpm?
I do my burnouts in 2nd gear. forgot to put it in Drive and ran 94mph at 7500 in the 1/8th. scarred the crap out of me when I realized what transpired, but she sill runs fine. New tuner and rev limiter, will never happen again,
Amazing it survived it though.

Re: Maximum rpm?
The repining is the easy part.
It's going through tha tables that was very time consuming for me. I'm sure a more experienced tuner could do it much faster. It doesn't have to be a cobra Ecu. I know some other guys have had luck just using the stock Ecu to control fuel and a mod 6 to do the timing . I have not played with that just yet. 150-200 would be the most I would pay. Call Levin . He usually has a bunch in the shop. |

Re: Maximum rpm?
I think I am going to wait until I hit the dyno and get tuned before I change anything, if the tuner feels the car will make more power after 7200 I will then change the ecu or add the msd 6 mod
