Finding car history

Is this an appropriate forum for seeing if any member here might have had my car before me? It has had several owners, but some of which might have just been dealers taking title of vehicle. In any case, there were a few multi year owners and I wanted to know if anyone here had it. 2004 Torch Red 5spd (talk about narrowing it down... none), came from Missouri at one point, to PA, to CT, to RI, sold to someone in NY then to me. It had some funny issues when I got it, missing a few pieces I never knew should've been there and I'm convinced hasn't been stock its whole life. When I bought it it had a Borla Stinger system, the RI owner I believe had an ORX on it...

I'm not looking to complain about any issues, I just really wouldn't mind knowing anymore about it (guy that sold it to me just parked it in his garage it seemed). Thanks!

Re: Finding car history

Will do. BTW I am not looking for anyone to run a carfax for me (already have it), but just if by some stroke of a luck a member here owned the car, more or less.

Thanks all.

Did you search through the "Owner's List" @ mach1registry.com ? Note the domain is ".com" not ".org"

That's a lot of pages to click through, and the search page doesn't work.

Re: Finding car history

Thanks for the suggestion. A few of the links were busted and several of the 190+ pages were blank, but I scanned through every one that worked one by one, and didn't find the VIN. Yes I had a bit of free time this afternoon...

Indeed there are many pages of data; I thought the search capability wasn't working due to the browser on my iOS device.

Anyway, it can be a useful resource but unfortunately not for lastcall190. Years ago, I used the owner's list to locate the previous (and original) owner of my Mach 1. We exchanged several e-mails and I learned a few things about the car's history; including that the car was the subject of several articles about modding a Mach 1 (on an online site named "The Chrome Pony").
