When I first bought my mach I didn't want to see any others. I wanted to be original. (Even though a guy that lives right around the corner had a TR one) But I knew him so that didn't bother me much. But as time has progressed, and I have not seen that many out on the road; I get very excited when I actually do run into another macher. In all, I only ever see two TR's, and a OW in my town of about 18k. There is another DSG too, but I never see it.

What's wrong with that?? It's just styling cues. As long as he doesn't put mach 1 emblems and lettering on the car i don't see anything wrong with it. I have a mach 1 grill and chin spoiler on my GT and just scored a set of Mach 1 rolled exhaust tips. I also have V6 side emblems. If anything, people think my silver GT is a V6 when i drive around. Not one person has ever said it looks like a Mach 1. Instead, i get people asking me if it's a GT or a V6. Of course, i don't plan on adding the striping, emblems, wheels or hood off a Mach 1, that's going a bit too far. I just wanted a few of the styling cues. But i don't see anything wrong with people stealing cues from "higher" models. Putting Cobra painted side mirrors on a V6 doesn't make it a Cobra poser. They are all Mustangs.

Besides all the guys at work (there are at least a half-dozen there) I only see one other Mach regularly, another TR that parks on the street during the day right in front of my kid's school (Hanalani). Steve Freitas? That you? I waved a couple times when we pass but don't recall you waving back...? <=^\

I've seen every color in person now EXCEPT zinc yellow. Everyone I've seen in this area apparently doesn't know about the registry. The nearest registry member to me is Richard Wilson and he doesn't even have a Mach anymore! People around here must live under a rock!

Must have been working
Sorry Wigsite, I didn't know you were comming down.
Email me next time you come to the Carolinas and I'll come out and play. Maybe I'll get a buddy or two together and we can terrorize the area while you're here.
